We call it ‘living in love.’ When Love becomes a choice you make moment to moment, day to day, you experience not just falling in love but living in love. In LISTENING HEART, you learn the skills, perspectives, attitudes, and understanding that support your consistent choice to love and be loved.
In LISTENING HEART you practice speaking clearly and honestly and listening with your open heart. You learn the value of being honest and clear with yourself first, inviting your partner to be honest with you. You learn how to use fear and conflict as positive sources for understanding, growth, intimacy and the fulfillment of your deepest desires. You laugh wholeheartedly and share laughter with your partner, taking yourselves lightly.
You become aware of what you learned as a child that both invites and limits your experience of love. You learn how to free yourself from past hurts, leaving you open to love fully, now.
With your partner you co-create a shared vision and commitment to your lives and well-being, describing how you choose to live in love every day, caring for yourself, each other, and your lives.
LISTENING HEART is reserved for couples in committed relationships who have completed the Personal Effectiveness Seminar. We offer it twice a year, once at Valentine’s time and again in September.
