Equity and Agility

Biases are patterns in the way we all take in information and interact with people we perceive as similar or different. New in 2020, Equity and Agility is an opportunity to bring awareness to these conscious or unconscious patterns in positive and transforming ways that acknowledge differences while creating connection rather than separation. Over two and a half days, participants actively engage in individual and group experiences that are structured and facilitated to elicit self-reflection, awareness, discussion, and personal accountability as well as inspire action in their lives.

You’ll learn and practice:

  •  Understanding your relationship with equity, power, rank, discomfort, and ambiguity
  •  Seeing and working with bias using three resources that are always available to you
  •  Communicating and acknowledging differences with ownership and accountability
  •  Turning common communication pitfalls toward opportunities to listen and connect
  •  Asking for, receiving, and giving feedback (and how to handle inevitable goofs and mistakes!)
  •  Influencing and engaging with others, institutions, and communities creatively
  •  Building resilience in yourself and others
  •  Inspiring your continued learning
